If you have an open case with Child Support Services and DO NOT pay through wage withholding, you have several payment options:

  1. Pay by check or money order—send payments to:

  2. Make a single debit / credit card payment (Visa or Mastercard only) over the telephone at (866) 901-3212 or pay online at the State Disbursement Unit
  3. Set up ongoing (recurring) automatic withdrawals from your checking or savings account online at the State Disbursement Unit
  4. Set up future payments from your checking or savings account online at the State Disbursement Unit

Attention: If a wage assignment is in place, payment by credit or debit card will NOT stop the wage assignment.

 

Payment Option – PayNearMe

Effective August 3, 2015, you will have an additional way to make your child support payment.

PayNearMe is an electronic cash transaction network that enables you to pay for child support with cash at participating retail locations.

PayNearMe charges a $1.99 fee.

 

Payment Option – MoneyGram

 

Starting January 5th, 2015, you will have an additional way to make your child support payment.

Use MoneyGram to make your child support payment. Starting January 5, 2015 you may make cash or debit card payments at many retail locations throughout the state where MoneyGram payment services are offered. Find a location at www.MoneyGram.com   or call 1-800-926-9400. You will need Your Name as it appears on your Child Support Case, Child Support Participant ID Number and Receive Code 14630 for California child support payments. MoneyGram charges a $1.99 fee.
